(Click here to find the Club nearest you, using our Club Locater!)

Q. How can I or my children join the Club?
A. Club membership is easy! Just fill out a Membership Application and bring it to the Unit you want to join. You can print out a form and fill it out later.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. Membership dues are never more than $35 for the year, and are often waived or reduced, depending on the family's need. Talk to the Unit Staff of your particular Unit for more details about membership fees and scholarships.

Q. How old does my child have to be to join the Club?
A. Club membership is open to all youth, ages 6 thru 18 (middle school-age students only at Madison).

Q. What do Club members do when they attend the Club?
A. We offer a variety of programs in five core areas. In addition, the staff at each Unit facilitate activities based on the individual needs and interests of their members. That said, every Club is a unique youth development experience!

Q. Is there anything for my teenager to do at the Club?
A. Yes! We offer age-appropriate activities for all of our members, and there is a particular emphasis on providing meaningful programs for pre-teens and teens. From health and life skills training to small-group leadership clubs to career development programs, there is something for every teen at the Club. Some of our Clubs are also open later in the evenings to accommodate the diverse interests and schedules of older teens. Please contact the Club nearest you to find out more about our teen programs.

Q. What schools does the Club serve in my area?
A. Aside from our Jack Jouett Unit, which only serves students at Jack Jouett Middle School, membership at our Clubs is open to young people from any of the areas local schools. As long as you can get there, you can attend!  Please visit each Club's information page to find out what schools are currently being served at each of our Units.

Q. What about transportation?
A. Currently, the Club does not provide transportation to or from our facilities.  Securing transport is the responsibility of the parent.  School bus transportation can usually be arranged at the child's school, though some exceptions apply based on routes and schedules.

Q. Do you have summer programs?  How does that work?
A. We currently offer summer programs at our Washington Park, Trinity, SouthwoodOrange  and Madison units.  Enrollment for the summer program usually begins during Spring Break each year, and priority is given to members who are already attending during the school year.  Contact your site's Unit Staff for more information about summer schedules and policies.

Q. How do I support the club?
A. Support in the form of donations of time, money and talent are always appreciated!  Check out the How You Can Help section of our website.  Contact Susan Ketron at (434) 295-0747 for more information.

Q. Can I make an online donation?
A. Yes!  If you would like to make a credit card donation (MasterCard or Visa), simply click on the Make an Online Donation link.  (NOTE: Checks can be sent to the address listed at the bottom of this page).
